b.Admission |
| |
|
|
i. New teams wishing to join the GLHL, and former teams wishing to re-enter, shall be selected by a majority of the members at an annual meeting |
| |
|
|
ii. A request for membership must be received by the Commissioner and/or Secretary/Treasurer/Publicist no later than the annual meeting prior to the season a team wishes to join/re-enter, to be acted upon at the annual meeting |
| |
|
|
iii. Upon selection, new/re-entering teams shall play a one-season probationary schedule along with required fees new/re-entering teams must have committed home dates for scheduling purposes at this annual meeting |
| |
|
|
iv. Exhibition teams/regular GLHL teams will be required to play at least 2 games one at each teams arena |
| |
|
c. Membership Fees |
| |
|
|
i. Member teams shall pay an annual fee of $400.00 |
| |
|
|
ii. Member teams shall pay for forfeiture bond of $750.00 into a non-lapsing fund |
| |
|
|
|
1. To be retained by the GLHL |
| |
|
|
|
2. Paid from offending team to non-offending teams in the event of a “no-show” or team playing “short of players” |
| |
|
|
|
3. Forfeiture fines of $300.00-$750.00/game must be replenished immediately, or the offending team will be suspended from further GLHL play until payment is received |
| |
|
|
|
4. This bond shall be refunded only upon a team’s dissolution and/or leave the GLHL in good standing |
| |
|
|
iii. New teams shall pay a NON-REFUNDABLE entry fee of $5,000.00, plus forfeiture bond of $750.00 to the non-lapsing fund |
| |
|
|
|
1. Upon successful completion of that season, such teams shall then be considered members |
| |
|
|
|
2. Certified funds must be submitted upon request/selection for membership |
| |
|
|
iv. Fees shall be submitted to the Secretary/Treasurer/Publicist no later than November 1 |
| |
|
|
|
1. Offending teams shall forfeit all GLHL games until those fees are secured |
| |
|
|
|
2. All fees shall be retained by the GLHL, in an event any team fails to fulfill its complete GLHL schedule |
| |
|
d. Withdrawal |
| |
|
|
i. A team wishing to withdraw from the GLHL shall submit notice to the Secretary/Treasurer/Publicist no later than the annual meeting prior to the season in which it no longer wishes to play |
| |
|
e. Expulsion |
| |
|
|
i. A team may be expelled from the GLHL only by a unanimous vote of the other members |
| |
