Great Lakes Hockey League Mourns the Loss of a Wisconsin Hockey Legend
The hockey community is deeply saddened at the news of the passing of Don Kohlman. Don Kohlman passed away on October 20 at a luncheon with friends and fellow hockey supporters of an apparent heart attack. Don's work and endless time not only touched the Fond du Lac hockey community, but several programs around the state of Wisconsin and the United States as well. Don is survived by a large hockey family as well as wife, Pat; sons Greg, Paul, Patrick (PJ) James, Jim, and John Paul; daughters Ruth and Jackie; and several grandchildren. We all extend our deepest sympathy to Don's family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday October 23rd, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the Zacherl Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish, St. Mary's Church, 93 Marquette St., Fond du Lac. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
